Q. What do minutes cost?

A. Minutes can be reordered in 30 or 60 minute increments at $5.99 for 30 minutes or $9.99 for 60 minutes.

Q. Does the Kids Connect© Card expire?

A. The Kids Connect© Card expires only if it is unused 1 year after activation.

Q. I programmed an 800 #, and it didn't work. Why?

A. The card does not calculate toll-free minutes and, thus, cannot accept toll-free numbers.

Q. Can I program international numbers?

A. No, the card may only be used within the United States.

Q. How do I scroll through the available numbers?

A. When programming or reprogramming, press 9 to advance to the next selection.

Q. What if I get a busy signal?

A. If your child gets a busy signal or no answer, a prompt will instruct your child to press 1 to get back to the menu to select another contact number.

Q. What if I get an answering machine (or voice mail)?

A. If a child gets an answering machine (or voice mail), he/she may leave a message or press ** to return to the menu to make another numbered choice.

Q. For what age child is this useful?

A. The Kids Connect© Card is a useful tool for a child, as soon as he/she knows how to use the telephone. In addition, its use as an emergency contact, the Card will function as a controlled calling card for older children.

Q. Why do I need a separate card for each of my children?

A. The medical information option is personalized for each child.
